An impressive craft from Master blacksmith Takahiro Nihei. Nihei meticulously crafts each knife by hand, using Aogami Super carbon steel with a beautiful damascus cladding. Trained under Yoshikane, Nihei's blades exhibit clear similarities, including a robust spine and distinct tapering.
The upper part of the blade features a black kurouchi finish, while the lower part showcases beautiful Damascus steel with a silky-smooth finish. These knives strike a wonderful balance between weight and thinness, offering exceptional cutting performance and stability in hand.
Note: Carbon steel is not stainless. Dry the knife thoroughly after use to prevent rust on the edge.
